We visited Poipu Beach three times during our stay at Lihue. Each time we were thrilled to see green sea turtles resting on the beach. The best time to go to see the turtles in between 5:30-6:30pm/ Volunteers are there to answer any turtle questions you might have and they also ensure that the turtles are kept safe.
