Coughing up lumps of jelly

I have asthma and have had it for a long time. However as of recently I have been coughing up a clear lining of mucus which is clear. Also clear gelatin like substance occasionally as well and I instantly feel relief after I cough it up. Does anyone know what this is or experience this?
