Having taken the slide off of mine I noticed that as with the GSG MP5 series, German Sport Guns have seem to have taken a Airsoft series Gas Blow Back and adapted it to fire 22 rimfire. What led me to this conclusion is the following, 1. On the slide, the firing mech. is held in place by a pin.
