3392 posts · Joined 2007. #3 · Oct 2, 2016. Probably best to clean/degrime the engine and look for any signs of the leak on the cleaned surface. The trouble with leaks around that area (engine front) is that rotating components can fling the oil around making the source difficult to spot.
