Playa Palancar has been our go to beach when we cruise to Cozumel for over 15 years. It's quiet and doesn't have a lot of things to do other than relax on the beach. There's a restaurant with full bar. As of October 2022, there was no entry fee but they expect you to spend at least $10. An umbrella with 2 loungers and table can be rented for $12. Now, it's $35-45 for entry. With that, you do get an umbrella, and a very limited number of selected food and drink, but, for the price, I suggest hitting one of the all inclusive beach clubs that are actually closer to town.
